Error: Can't save changes to this object... (due to database read-only).
Error:
Can't save changes to this object because you don't have permission to write to the record. Copy the object to the Clipboard if you want to save it , then choose Undo Field.
Cause:
The database is read-only.
Solution:
Clear the 'Read-only' check box in the properties sheet for the database.
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Database Properties...'. (The <title> Properties sheet appears, where <title> is the title of the database.)
3) Click the 'General' tab.
4) Clear the 'Read Only' check box.
NOTE: If the 'Read Only' check box cannot be unchecked, Administrative rights are required to solve the problem. Please contact your administrator or next-level support.
